Emergency Support

Your network, emails, phone, website or any of your IT services are down, we can help with solutions such as temporary replacement servers or temporary Internet through the cellphone network . For immediate assistance, please call us at (212) 884-048. As we are located right in the heart of Manhattan, NY, we are usually on-site for emergencies within the hour.

On-site Support

Most IT situations can be handled remotely but a few still require the presence of a technician or of an engineer, such as hardware failures, network issues, important system upgrades or complex software problems.  Also sometimes it is just easier to discuss a situation face to face in order to understand better a situation and get it fixed within the best delays.

Remote Support

Remote Support is a method for troubleshooting software related problems via remote desktop connections. We use a software that allows us to access your desktop via the Internet. With the users permission, the technician can take control of the users mouse and keyboard, transfer various diagnostics and repair applications to the users’ desktop, run scans, install antivirus programs, etc.

Training

We offer training on different products ranging from end-user softwares to system administration.

Managed Services

Managed Services is basically a fancy word meaning that our clients will receive a list of well defined services on going basis with well defined “response and resolution times” sometimes for a fixed rate or a flat fee. This can include things like 24/7 Monitoring of Servers, 24/7 Helpdesk for your day to day computer issues and Onsite visits by technician when issues cannot be resolved remotely. We also offer additional services like Project Management and Vendor management in the monthly price. Managed Services is on the rise and millions of companies around the world are transitioning to this type of IT Service Delivery Model. The benefits are multiple:

Fixed Cost, Fast Response Time, Aligning of Business Goals, Availability of a Trusted Advisor, etc.

By offering a fixed cost monthly services we are aligning our business goals with that of our customers. What that means is that if our customer’s network is constantly having issues, both our client and ourselves are loosing money at the same time. So it is in our best interest to ensure that permanent fixes are provided to problems rather than temporary patches. This results in a win-win relationship where the client can budget for IT Support and get quality service when they need it the most.

Block Hours

Block Hours is basically a way to purchase a bunch of hours upfront to pay a reduced hourly rate. The idea behind this type of support is that the customer has a discounted rate and a fixed number of hours to use per month. This allows them the flexibiliy to use the hours as they please without doing the paperwork and the hassle of paying multiple bills.

The drawback of such type of arrangement is that you pay for hours upfront not knowing exactly how much you are going to use each month. Some companies end up paying for hours they will never use, in other words they loose thems and end up paying more per hour; in order to alleviate this issue, unlike most of our competitors, we do allow you to carry forward your hours within 30 days. Then there is the question of who tracks the hours? This is again a matter of contention because the business is usually busy doing what they do best and often do not understand the technicalities behind the issues and the time spent working on them. We are honest and with strong values but that is obviously not enough so we provide you with a detailled list of the work done on your computers and servers along with our invoice.
